Purple Iris…Pansies…and Peonies
If you ever get the chance to head up towards Owen Sound, do it! I had never been there before but you can bet I will be heading back again. Inglis Falls is just outside of Owen Sound and is breathtaking. I would love to go back again and explore Harrison Park…I was only able to see such a small part of this amazing park. Ontario really does have so much to offer…get out and explore…you won’t be disappointed!
Spring is my favourite time of year. I love when everything is fresh and new and little bits of colour are popping up everywhere.
I can’t believe it is the middle of February and winter has finally arrived. I can’t believe the season we are having…last week, spring-like weather with record breaking warm temperatures…then this morning it was -28C with the windchill. It’s crazy! Good thing is…hopefully with winter coming this late…it will be very short.
Haven’t posted any photos in a couple weeks and thought…what’s better than some pics of my favorite subjects!
Well, this was it…the first mini-trip in our new camper. And what a beautiful weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful. We decided to stay relatively close to home because we only had 2 nights to be away and it was also the first time camping with the dogs. Much to my surprise, they did awesome. We decided to head up towards Port Elgin to a campground we had been to before…Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area. The park was as nice as we had remembered. We spent much of the weekend hiking the trails in the area. I wasn’t sure how the dogs would do with all the hiking, but they were great…they would go as long as we would…it was fantastic. I only wish we had decided to bring the canoe on this trip…next time for sure. I know that this was only a small taste of what is to come with our little RV…but we already can’t wait until next season. It’s going to be a long winter…
